approach
We aim to adopt a holistic patient-centred approach to our clinical care and research. Our projects focus on aspects of epilepsy and outcomes that are important to our patients and their loved ones.
Currently, few children with epilepsy are eligible for surgical treatments, which have the potential to eliminate seizures completely. We want to improve outcomes of current surgical techniques and develop new treatments that may allow more children with epilepsy to have a life without seizures. Ultimately, we want to find treatments that are kinder, safer and more effective for our patients.
